 Understand the basics of rock climbing through a top-roping approach. We will discuss an overview of gear, essential knots, belay checks, climbing commands, belaying and basic movement skills.  In addition, we will go over ways to minimize risks associated with outdoor climbing like rock fall or exposure. Once this skill is complete, the men will have spent time on the face of a rock and will have the confidence to go out again.
